The new ShareThis widget, previously in beta on a few sites, has gone live with all of our publishers and is available to all who have downloaded the browser plugin! The updated widget has awesome features including the contact manager and ShareBox, and it’s tab-free! The update is automatic and requires no changes by publishers or users - just keep sharing!
Not only does the new widget seem to be performing well and pleasing users - but we’ve added more services including Fark and BusinessExchange! We’re happy to offer these services in the widget, rounding out the group of great social media resources that our users can access with a click of the green button.

The Twitter link is not working correctly. For example, when using the “ShareThis” Twitter link for this blog, it leads to the URL: http://twitter.com/timeline/home/?status=Widgets%20for%20All!%20http%3A%2F%2Ftinyurl.com%2Fd5xfbq+via+%40ShareThis
This shows a Twitter page that says “That page does not exist”. I noticed if the /timeline portion of the URL is removed though, it works. Anyone else having this problem?
I don’t suppose it’s possible to go back to the old widget code? It worked and fitted beautifully with the site we’re about to launch, but the new code doesn’t seem to be working with your developer API for button customization etc.
