How would you like to be part of a growing dynamic team to work on “social” data to understand the “social insights”?

ShareThis promotes sharing of interesting content among users connected by a social graph and shared interests. We are able to accumulate significant data on sharing behavior, providing insights on interests, and influence circle of users. We have experienced significant growth both in adoption by site publishers and share actions by users. Over 1+M sites have incorporated the ShareThis widget driving 10 billion+ page views monthly.

We are are looking for highly accomplished engineers who are interested in data and want to take the challenge to understand the impact of “social data” and leverage it for internet advertising. You will work with a team of Scientists and Engineers to help unlock user insights and build the products making a difference.

Requirements:

• Experience in data mining/ machine learning techniques to understand user behavior.
• Good understanding of algorithms, statistical techniques, data structures & performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Search/Display Advertising is a plus.
• Experience with Hadoop and Java.
• M.S/Ph.D in Computer Science or related field.
