Sr. Systems Engineer, Infrastructure & Analytics

This is a key initiative for the company since it reflects our presence with users; as such garners significant visibility at senior levels. Responsibilities of this position include innovative product development, technology architecture, product rollout, and business integration.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Innovative Engineering: The successful candidate will be responsible for taking active role in deploying new products that benefits users, publishers, and advertisers. You will collaborate with in a team that contributes to research and development of products, technology architecture, implementation and integration between various systems within the company that will collectively work together to deliver solutions.

Technology Architecture: As a staff member you will be responsible infrastructure that it is highly scalable, extensible, and adaptive as it evolves through the next 3 -18 months.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is most likely to be a hybrid: part analyst and part engineer. This needs to be a candidate that is clearly passionate about the challenges related to large data, infrastructure, applications associated with date processing, online advertising, and social media. It is essential for the candidate to have outstanding technical skills. From a technical perspective, the candidate must have direct domain experience in data product engineering, analytics, deep understanding of technology space. The candidate must demonstrate first hand experience in building and deploying systems that scale. Implementation experience in SQL or NOSQL based systems, AWS, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, Hive, HDFS/HBase or equivalent is strongly preferred. Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl and programming languages such as Java/C++ and/or Python, PHP, SQL is expected.

Bachelors or Masters in computer science or other technical discipline or engineering background from a leading school is preferred.

The ideal candidate is likely to come from a company involved in infrastructure management, engineering applications in social media or digital media or internet and online advertising.
